Sound Trap Fans
| ST fans are the standard ABC fan with a built-in sound trap that reduces inlet, outlet and radiated noise levels significantly. The casing is double walled with a solid steel outer shell and a perforated inner shell. The space in between is filled with a sound-absorbing batting. The ST feature can reduce sound power levels by as much as 6 to 16 dB, between the second and eighth octave bands, representing a 50% reduction in noise sensed by the ear. |
